Weaving: A New Beginning.
This woven red scarf has been a crafting break-through for me that was a long time in coming. I have had my rigid-heddle loom for a over a year but only this month has it been put to work.
I was fortunate to buy a 'Child's Table top' one for $38 dollars a fraction of the price of the Ashford Knitter's Loom I was planning to get. While not as 'sophisticated', Debby (my loom) is just as capable.
I have several connections to woodworkers, and so I plan to upgrade Debby as I go along.
My second project was riddled with mistakes but it is no less loved.
It is just the start, I am looking forward to the journey!
This is wonderful! and good for you for being frugal about the loom, since it's giving you excellent results already.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful. I love that you didn't have to break the bank to get great results!!!! Can't wait to see what else you come up with.
