Fulfilling a Need
I needed to crochet something. I had a perfectly good pair of socks going and I had the drive to track down my borrowed-not-yet-returned hook and make something.
I chose a scarf because when I started a cowl, it looked funny. It is a simple meandering pattern of changing color and mixing liberally double and triple crochet. The most tedious part is all the ends to sew in at the sides but I am enjoying the whimsy.

I really understand that need to do a certain kind of artwork! it's not about wanting, or thinking idly about it, it's about NEEDING to do it no matter what! your results are lovely.
